Mindful Hatha Yoga: I offer guidance through classic hatha yoga poses, offering students time to refine the postures and coordinate them with their breath. The class ends with a period of deep relaxation. This kind of mindful practice can build both physical strength, flexibility, as well as mental and emotional awareness and resilience.

I explain the principles that yoga philosophy and gardening have in common. I give information on how mindfulness can help gardeners avoid injuries, and offer a simple yoga sequence for building strength and flexibility.

I've offered this half-day workshop at Wisdom House. I'd like to offer it again in the coming growing season.

Planting Seeds

This workshop delves into the deeper meaning of planting seeds. I explore parallels between nature's cycles and the cycles of our lives. I dig into how the projects we undertake resemble the progress of a seed growing into a plant that produces new seeds. I gave this workshop at Wisdom House in May 2021.
